We’re proud to announce that Antelope has been awarded the international standard for Information Security Management (ISO27001:2013) and Security controls for cloud services (ISO27017:2015).
What is Information Security?
ISO27001 is one of the most well-known and internationally recognized information security standards. It identifies requirements for an Information Security Management System (ISMS) and defines how organizations should manage and handle the security of assets such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details, or information entrusted to you by third parties.
It is keeping information assets secure against external and internal threats in order to ensure business continuity, minimize business risk, and maximize return on investments.
Information security is carried out by implementing a security system, including policies, processes, procedures, defining the organizational structure, operating system, and software control.
ISO27017 provides enhanced controls for cloud service providers and cloud service customers. Unlike many other technology-related standards, ISO27017 clarifies both party’s roles and responsibilities to help make cloud services as safe and secure as the rest of the data included in a certified information management system.
To achieve this certification, Antelope’s compliance was validated by Maximus Consulting (Hong Kong) Limited. We are happy to report that, after demonstrating an ongoing and systematic approach to managing and protecting the company and customer data, the review was completed as zero findings.
Antelope will continue the success of promoting a secure and reliable information environment through its provision of professional IT solutions.
